Then we set up a trial date follow by a clear instruction sent to your phone to properly prepare your for trial leading to your very special wedding day.
Trial is held Mon-Friday from 10:00 AM (when the studio is open) to 5:00 PM (last accepted appointment at 3:00pm). Our weekends are open for business, typically reserved for weddings on-site. Trial may take up to 3 hours but not exceeding. A trial of the hair style you chose and makeup of your choice will be a brief 2 hours to give you the gist of the final look without much detailing like we would on your wedding day. The last hour is given to discuss FAQ, details about your wedding/questionnaire, deposit and signing contracts. Prior to your trial, you will be instructed to email/text over some picture of yourself and some inspirational hair and makeup photos to emulate the styles you have chosen. If a successful trial, we proceed with agreements and signing to secure the wedding date. At the end of trial, you will have two options: 1) “Love it" and we sign contract & deposit to secure your wedding date. 2) “Don’t love it" then you would only be responsible to pay the remaining of the trail payment with no other obligation.

Two options to book:
- You’ve reviewed my work, did your reserched and know I am the artist for you and you want to lock in your wedding date with me. If so, there is a 50% retainer fee of your wedding package to secure your big day follow by and signed agreement follow by an invoice sent to your email for referance.
- Risk-Free trial first. $100 deposit to secure a time and date for your trial. Upon deposit, we will immediately soft hold your wedding date as well so no one else can book this date until your trial is complete. Upon complete of trial, you should know if I’m the artist for you want. If I am, great, then proceed to 50% deposit of your package and sign agreement. If you are unsure, no problem! You would only pay for the remaining of your trial. Then we remove your soft hold wedding day and no other obligation.

Yes, we travel to you on your wedding day so you can relax and have the full luxury experience on your very special day. Travel fee is $10 per mile from Studio Cathy HM Beauty, San Jose.
Bride, please allow up to three hours for your hair and makeup to ensure the highest level of quality and comfort on your wedding day. Your styling will typically take 2–2.5 hours, with remaining time for placing your veil, dupatta, or final touch-ups, and cleanup.
If you have additional services for your bridal party, we will provide a customized timeline. We simply ask that you confirm the time you would like everyone finished so we can plan accordingly.
Yes, we work with a team of professional and experienced artists that are punctual and reliable. We design a team around how many services are needed on your wedding day so you tell us how many services are needed, what time does the bride need to be done by and/or what time does everyone need to be done by? We will then calculate and let you know how many artist will participate & what time we will need to begin to complete your bridal party by your desire completed time.
Clean and completely dry hair so curls can hold best. DO NOT wash your hair the morning of your wedding day, bride and all bridal party. It is okay to wash your hair the night before but please assure your hair is fully dry before going to bed and wake up to double check your roots are fully dry, again. If you would like your bangs to fall in a certain side, please part it in place few day before & after your shower. Feel free to use your face moisturized to keep your skin hydrated after you wash your face upon wakening. Avoid using extra SPF sunscreen if possible (SPF with zinc oxide). Bride will provide valet or a close parking space for all our artists. Bride, scope your hotel/room and designate an area with best natural lighting for your artist(s). Preferably an area with an outlet and table top by a window.
We accept Check, cash, zelle, Apple Pay, Venmo, paypal, and most common credit cards. Payment made with a credit card is subject up to 4% transaction fee.

Yes, we do! We use Temptu Airbrush brand. All of our luxury bridal packages do come with airbrush makeup as it is highly highly recommended for all our brides for a longer lasting makeup for an all day wear. We do offer airbrush makeup for your bridal party too for an additional fee. Please do let us know this during your consultation so we can accurately quote you and more importantly, we are prepared for your bridal party who requested for this additional upgrade service.
